Windows , by default, manages itself in a way where it collects data from different actions that you do on the computer. Ironically, this data is collected to help speed up actions that you do on a regular bases. This collection of data, however, is the main reason why computers are slow. Below are some tips that will speed up your computer by clearing out much of this data that slows your computer using CCleaner:
Ccleaner – is a program that has multiple tools for clearing out unneeded data. Go to http://www.piriform.com/ to download Ccleaner. Once this is installed you will go to the cleaner option of interface. Leave the default settings selected and click analyze . This will determine how much space will be gained by running the cleaner and where the data is being cleaned from.
Ccleaner Uninstall – Going to tools then uninstall will take you to an uninstall tool similar to the windows uninstaller to uninstall unneeded programs that cause system slow-down.
Ccleaner startup utility – There are many programs that will install files into your startup directory. They do this so that it opens faster when you attempt to open it. If it is a program that you do not use on a regular basis than when it start automatically on startup and runs it takes up memory unnecessarily. Go through the list of programs and disable the things that you know are not needed. Be careful when doing this because disabling the wrong thing can cause significant issues.
